This New York appartement is located right in the center of Manhattan. The Madison Avenue Suite is a beautiful, large, one bedroom, 2 room apartment that sleeps up to 5 people in the very centre of Manhattan – just couple blocks away from the Empire State Building. The Madison Avenue Suite and the other apartments managed by our company are the only environmentally-friendly serviced apartments in New York. We are trying to have as little impact on environment as possible – the apartment is not perfect in this regard yet but it is getting there. We are using only eco-friendly cleaning supplies and recycled materials for all the paper and glass that we use in the apartment. We have signed a special contract with the electric company to ensure that we use only electricity generated by wind and water – it costs a little more but we think it is worth it! We also try to use as much recyclable materials as possible. Nowadays everyone has to be thinking about the impact on our planet, and it’s the little things like this that start to make a difference. Please, read our tips on becoming a green traveller. The apartment has a large bedroom with a big closet and a queen size bed. There are 3 large closets in the apartment in total. The living room is large and has a pull out sofa bed that can sleep up to 2 as well as a couch that can sleep an extra person. The apartment also comes with a coffee table and a dining table as well as a HDTV with cable. There is also free Wi-Fi Internet access and free International calls to International landlines so you can keep in touch with your family and friends back home. One thing that makes this apartment special is a beautiful French door leading from the living room to the bedroom, it certainly make the apartment even more charming. And there is also a French door on the closet in the bedroom. Such a tasteful apartment is rare find in the centre of Manhattan. The kitchen is just the right size and has a stove, all the pots and pans, cutlery and crockery making it easy for you to cook your own food. Considering the location and the amenities, the Madison Avenue Suite is one of the best apartments in our database in terms of value for money. We hope to see you in New York!

Midtown East, Manhattan
Midtown East is Manhattan´s densest business district, centrally located, with great transportation (6 subway lines and Grand Central Station). Midtown East completes the New York Corporate image: Financial institutions, law firms and luxurious hotels and magnificent luxury towers. Many ethnic restaurants, cozy cafes, swanky lounges, and a very popular bar scene give this neighborhood more than a modicum of downtown flair. The area is home to many corporations such as Met Life and Citicorp as well as the United Nations. The center of Midtown East is Grand Central Station, which has been magnificently renovated, and is an architectural marvel lined with shops and restaurants. With the art deco Chrysler Building illuminating the skyline, every style of home is available in this neighborhood. Midtown East also has a few notable landmarks to its credit. The Morgan Library and Sniffen Court carriage houses on 36th Street are architectural masterpieces as is the Gilbert-designed Beaux Arts mansion. New luxury high-rise buildings are popular among professionals who choose to live close to work. Despite being one of the busiest places by day, there is no shortage of nightlife here. Numerous delicious restaurants, alluring shops, and jazzy local bars keep residents alive at night.

Apartment surroundings
The Madison Avenue Deluxe apartment is located on 3rd Avenue in the middle of downtown New York City, just couple blocks from the Empire State Building – New York’s most famous landmark. In case you’d want to relax for a little while and have a cup of coffee in the park – the famous Madison Square Park is just 3 blocks away. There are always special events being held in Madison Square Park: outdoor exhibitions, live music and different shows are just a few of the events that take place there.

You have practically everything you need for your stay in New York on 3rd Avenue – you do not need to go more than a few minutes on foot to eat any cuisine, withdraw money, buy electronics, get cell phone pay-as-you-go SIM-cards, or even watch a show or a movie. Right across the street you will find one of the best places in the city for fresh bagels – The Bagel Cafe.

This is definitely the best apartment for those who want to cook and have dinners in the apartment – not only it has an amazing big stove and oven, but also you will have several grocery stores around which is very rare in New York: you can get everything in the Food Emporium supermarket on 3rd Avenue between 31st and 32nd Streets. If you just want to pick up some quick basic items as well as fresh fruits and vegetables, you might want to visit Future Village Farm right across the street from the apartment.

If you are trying to decide where to eat nearby you can choose between numerous options – 3rd and Lexington Avenues has a huge number of restaurants. For a quick snack, you can go to Dunkin Donuts or Tasti-D-Lite for sweets and coffee (just a block away from the apartment) or if you are in the mood for something more substantial choose from many fine dining restaurants and bars around the block with all the possible cuisines –Tibetan cuisine on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 31st Street; Italian restaurants: De Giulio on Lexington Ave and 31st Street, Vezzo (pizzeria) on the same block, Belvedere Trattoria (Toscana cuisine) one block down (on Lexington and 30th Street) and Penelope restaurant on the same block. If you are looking for an Indian restaurant - there is one on the corner of 29th Street and Lexington Avenue, and you have a fancy Tonic restaurant and bar right on your block – on the corner of 29th and 3rd. There is also the Brazil Coffee House on the corner of 30th Street and Lexington. If you enjoy sushi and Japanese cuisine in general you would enjoy Sushi place on 31st Street and Lexington or the one on 3rd Avenue and 31st Street. On the corner across the street there is the Prosecchia wine bar where you can enjoy good wine and a meal. Also right next door to the apartment is The Hill bar and restaurant. And if you’re in the mood for a movie – there is an AMC Loews movie theatre on the corner of 31st Street and 2nd Avenue.

There is a laundry right next door to the apartment making washing really easy. Just drop off your clothes and they will wash and fold them for you for just $1 per pound. If you prefer to use self-service, you have that option as well (a rare find in Midtown) – this laundry is located on the corner of 29th Street and Lexington Avenue. There are also two Duane Reade pharmacies nearby – an express one across the street (on 3rd Avenue and 29th Street), and a big one on the corner of 34th and 3rd – it’s the largest New York pharmacy chain and is open 24 hours. Pharmacies in the US sell everything from food to umbrellas, so if you’re not sure where to find what you need – go to the pharmacy, and you’ll find it!

If you’re coming to New York by car – there are many secure parking places near the apartment, the cheapest being the one on the same block with the apartment – on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 29th Street. However, think twice before bringing your car with you, even cheap parking in New York will cost you about $30 a day! If you’re flying to New York, the bus from JFK will take you to Penn Station which is just couple blocks away. Or you can catch the airtrain from JFK to the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) and also get to Penn Station. From there you can either walk for about 10 minutes or catch a taxi which will not cost you more than $5. The closest subway is on 28th Street or 33rd Street and Park Avenue, here you can catch the 6 train (green line), and go by subway to any destination in the city.

If you need to withdraw money or use other banking services the closest bank will be on the corner of 33rd Street and 3rd Avenue – Chase bank. There is also Bank of America on the 3rd Avenue between 28th and 29th Streets.
