Rockefeller Center Suite is a beautiful, two bedroom, 3 room apartment that sleeps up to 6 people in the very centre of Manhattan – located between three New York major attractions – Times Square, Rockefeller Center and Columbus Circle. The apartment is very comfortable and cosy.
Rockefeller Center Suite and the other apartments managed by our company are the only environmentally-friendly serviced apartments in New York. We are trying to have as little impact on environment as possible – the apartment is not perfect in this regard yet but it is getting there. We are using only eco-friendly cleaning supplies and recycled materials for all the paper and glass that we use in the apartment. We have signed a special contract with the electric company to ensure that we use only electricity generated by wind and water – it costs a little more but we think it is worth it! We also try to use as much recyclable materials as possible. Nowadays everyone has to be thinking about the impact on our planet, and it’s the little things like this that start to make a difference. The apartment has 2 bedrooms – one larger, one smaller one. The larger one has a big closet, a queen size bed and an armchair. The smaller one has a double bed. The living room has a pull out sofa bed that can sleep up to 2, HDTV with cable and a side table. The kitchen is large featuring all the appliances as well as dining table with chairs. The apartment also comes with free high speed wireless Internet access and free International calls to International landlines so you can keep in touch with your family and friends back home. The kitchenette is just the right size and has a stove with oven, pots and pans and a microwave. Considering the location and the amenities, Rockefeller Center Suite is one of the best apartments in our database in terms of value for money. We hope to see you in New York!

Midtown West, Manhattan
Midtown West is a neighborhood in Manhattan, New York City that has such world-famous commercial buildings as Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the Empire State Building. Midtown also includes the new, revitalized Times Square and the Theater District, where world-famous Broadway productions wow audiences nightly. Midtown Manhattan is the busiest single commercial district in the United States. The great majority of the city´s skyscrapers, including most of its hotels and many apartment towers, lie within Midtown. Some areas, especially Times Square and Fifth Avenue, have massive clusters of retail establishments.
One of New York´s premier cultural destinations, The Museum of Modern Art at West 53rd off Sixth Avenue, offers a luxury after-hours series with guided tours, live piano music, and wine-tasting. The area is also known for some of Manhattan´s most highly rated restaurants, catering to affluent tourists and the high-powered business crowd
Here you can find the world famous Madison Square Garden, home of the New York Knicks and Rangers. The arena also host many concerts and events, so if your in the area check out the schedule. You will find Penn Station (LIRR and Path Trains) right below Madison Square Garden. Across the street is the NY Public Library. Most of the great Broadway theaters are near Times Square east and west of Broadway. Up around 57th Street you can find historic Carnegie Hall, said to have some of the best acoustics in the world. The Museum of Television & Radio is also in Midtown as is the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum and the American Craft Museum.
Known for its ethnic cuisine, the area attracts hungry theater-goers, particularly along ´Restaurant Row´ on West 46th Street.
Apartment surroundings
Rockefeller Center Suite apartment is located on a quiet block right in the middle of midtown New York City, just 7 street blocks from bustling Times Square –New York’s most famous landmark. The apartment is located between 9th and 10th Avenues and right next to Restaurant Row – 46th Street.
Rockefeller Center is just couple blocks away on 49th Street and 6th Avenue and is the best place to be around Christmas time, it is the place for main New York city Christmas tree. Each year a ceremony is held to unveil a Christmas tree, the ceremony is free for public (although you have to get there early), the tickets to the front can be bought. The ceremony is absolutely astonishing and has celebrity participants. Paul Manship's highly recognizable bronze gilded statue of the Greek legend of the Titan Prometheus recumbent, bringing fire to mankind, features prominently in the sunken plaza at the front of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. That statue is considered 4th most famous statue in the United States. The best thing about Rockefeller center in winter is the large ice skating rink in front of the statue, who wouldn’t enjoy that?
Columbus Circle is just 9 street blocks up and is one of the entrances to Central Park. The area was named for Christopher Columbus, is a major landmark and point of attraction in the New York City. Completed in 1905 and renovated a century later, it is located at the intersection of Broadway, Central Park West, Central Park South (59th Street), and Eighth Avenue and is the point from which distances from New York City are measured. The traffic circle was designed by William P. Eno, a businessman who pioneered many early innovations in road safety and traffic control. The monument at the center, created by Italian sculptor Gaetano Russo, is the point at which distances to and from New York City are officially measured. Time Warner Center, the world headquarters of the Time Warner corporation, is located on the west side of Columbus Circle on the site of the old New York Coliseum. The complex also hosts the Shops at Columbus Circle, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the New York City studio headquarters of CNN and the Mandarin Oriental, New York hotel. On the north side of Columbus Circle is the Trump International Hotel and Tower, with its famous steel globe. Immediately prior, the edifice had been an office tower, the Gulf + Western Building, housing the New York City headquarters of Paramount Pictures. In the complex with the shops (right by Time Warner Building) one can also find a large book store “Barnes&Nobles” – one from a famous book store chain. This store is special because all the celebrities come here to sign their books. So if you want to spot someone or listen to them when they read parts of their book and get an autograph – this is the place to be. The store is located on the second floor, so you can go and see the celebrities and the dates of book signings on their glass wall.
The area is also great for relaxing with a cup of coffee outdoors - New York’s famous Bryant Park is just 6 blocks away. Bryant Park is one of the favourite areas of New Yorkers – it feels like oasis in the middle of skyscrapers. There is always something going on in Bryant Park: Jazz and Film festivals as well as New York Fashion shows are just a few of the events that take place there. It’s a beautiful square park and even has its own reading room. Weather permitting, anyone can just come and take a book from one of the stands in the park and enjoy reading. There are tables and chairs there too, so you can also have a coffee or lunch. In summer many people just sit or lie on the grass in the park talking and spending time with friends.
You have practically everything on your block – you do not need to go more than a few minutes on foot to eat any cuisine, withdraw money, buy electronics, get cell phone pay-as-you-go SIM-cards, or even watch a show or a movie. You’ve got the famous and popular Starbucks coffee house on the corner of 43rd Street and 8th Avenue where any coffee lover will find something to suit his/her taste. If you want to grab breakfast you can visit Europan cafe on 8th Avenue between 42nd and 43rd Streets. Also a nice place for breakfast or lunch would be The Bread Factory on the corner of 43rd Street and 9th Avenues – it has everything from pizzas and sandwiches to fantastic desserts.
If you would like to buy groceries and cook for yourself, you can get basic groceries in the Deli on the corner of 45th Street and 9th Avenue. If you would like to visit a grocery store you can go to the Whole Foods organic store which is located at 300 Park Avenue at the same address as Grand Central Station.
If you’re thinking where to eat around the apartment you can choose between numerous options on the Restaurant Row (46th Street) or you can go to the world famous Hard Rock cafe on the corner of 43rd Street and 7th Avenue or choose from tons of smaller restaurants around the block with a more homelike atmosphere. There are several Italian restaurants: Don Giovanni on 44th and 9th or 44SW Italian restaurant which has been family owned for almost 40 years – one of the oldest in New York. If you are in the mood for jazz, you will definitely enjoy the Birdland jazz cafe and restaurant (on 44th Street between 8th and 9th) where you can enjoy great food and live jazz. If you’re more a bar type of person who also enjoys watching a game on a big screen, you might want to check out the Bullmoose Saloon on the same block (closer to 9th Avenue). There is also Daltons Sports Bar situated on the 9th Avenue between 43rd and 44th Streets and Smith’s Bar on the corner of 44th and 8th. If you’re in the mood for a movie and something sweet – visit 42nd Street and 8th Avenue, drop by AMC movie theatre and get an ice cream at a Cold Stone – the staff will help you choose everything for your ice cream and then mix it right in front of you!!!
On 9th Avenue (between 43rd and 44th) there is an office of T-Mobile where you can purchase a pay-as-you-go subscription if you wish to use a local mobile connection while in the US. There are also two Duane Reade pharmacies nearby - on the corner of 42nd and 8th as well on 9th Avenue close to 44th Street – the pharmacies are open 24-hours. And pharmacies in the US sell everything from food to umbrellas, so if you’re not sure where to find what you need – go to the pharmacy, and you’ll find it!
If you’re flying to New York, the bus from JFK will take you straight to Port Authority which is 7 street blocks from the apartment (about 10 minute walk). Or you can catch the Airtrain from JFK to the ACE train (blue line) and travel to the same block as your apartment. The closest subway entrance is one block away (corner of 50th Street and 8th Avenue), here you can catch the C,E trains (blue line). Another block down at Broadway and 50th Street you have 1 train (red line), and N,Q,R trains (yellow line) at 49th Street and 7th Avenue. You can get anywhere in NY right from the apartment.

Cancellation policy:
- If the booking is cancelled more than 21 days before arrival date, the Hospitality Provider will charge a $50 processing fee
- If the booking is cancelled 21-14 days before arrival date the Hospitality Provider will charge a cancellation fee equal to 30% of the booking
- If the booking is cancelled 14-7 days before arrival date the Hospitality Provider will charge a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the booking
- If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival date the booking will be non-refundable
A cancellation fee equal to 100% of accommodation price per apartment booked will also be applied if the USER moves out of the apartment before the USER's reserved departure time.
Prepayment of 100% of total amount is necessary for all bookings
Please note that the price is increased by $20 per night for bookings after September 15.
Please note that the bookings for Easter (1-10 April 2012) and Christmas season (21 December - 3 January) will be non-refundable. The rate per night will be 80 USD extra for this period.
